Graduation does not teach you how hiring works.

Some students graduate with internships, a clear target, and people who can open doors. Others have a degree but little practice turning classwork, part-time jobs, campus activities, or volunteer experience into a professional story. Most are somewhere in between.

That does not call for hype. It calls for an honest look at what is there, what is not there yet, and what can still be built before or after graduation.

For more than 20 years, I have worked in HR leadership and consulting across corporate, nonprofit, and growing organizations. I have read resumes, sat on interview panels, researched compensation, and helped make hiring decisions.

My job here is not to reassure you or guarantee an outcome. It is to tell you how your materials, answers, and choices read from an HR perspective, then help you prepare for the part that comes next.
